A host of prizes awaits winners at the Henbury Flower Show 2024 – Cash prizes of £1.20, 80p and 40p will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all classes with points awarded of 3 for 1st place, 2 for 2nd place,  & 1 for 3rd place.  Cups are given for the most points in each section. The overall winner in each section will be awarded the following trophies, with awards also being presented for Overall Points Winner, Best Overall Entry and School with the most points.

Kingsworld Walder Cup – Donated by original sponsors

Pettinger Rose Bowl – Donated by the Pettinger family who lived in Applegarth at the time of the first show.

Charlotte Pettinger Cup – Donated by the Pettinger family in name of their eldest child who was a mere babe.

Henbury Flower Show decanter – Donated by Duncan Matthews.

Wynne Buckley Salver – Given by Norma in memory of her husband who was the 1st Chairman (ex-local Head Master).

Mary Fitzgerald Vase – Donated by WI in memory of Mary who was an original committee member & ex Head of Henbury Court School.

Sue Gibbons Cup – Donated by Peter Day in memory of his sister who was always an enthusiastic Flower Show entrant.

Eve Jones Rose Bowl – Donated in memory of Eve who as Eve Jacey was a founding member of the show and who later married Alan Jones who was treasurer (both teachers).
